TxDOT says construction began in April 2026 and is expected to finish in late 2029. Work includes a Loop 360 underpass at Courtyard Drive, a diverging diamond interchange at RM 2222, and shared-use paths and sidewalks. Allow extra time and check TxDOT’s project page for current traffic patterns and closures before traveling.
